TTL, a company established in 1930, is a leader in Greenhouse Horticulture Technologies. As a part of its diversification plans, the company is keen on developing Moringa-based neutraceuticals for domestic as well as export markets. Our first task for this company was to identify a suitable state/region in India based on level of policy incentives and regulatory support for export-oriented food-processing industries. This was followed by on-site surveys for short-listing of potential long-term partners for TTLs operations in India.

Excharge Co. Ltd., Singapore

ECL won a METI award for its innovative charging device that extracted extra energy from automobiles for lighting up homes in off-grid areas. We supported the company in conducting comprehensive prototype testing across North India, in collaboration with Village Level Enterprises, NGOs and private companies. Feedback from these tests were used for improving product design, finalizing "Make in India" partners and for product exports to South East Asia and Africa.

Japanese Trading Company (Confidential)

In view of the rising demand for natural sweeteners in Japan (400 Tonnes/year), this trading company wanted to explore the possibility of sourcing Liquorice extract (Glycyrrhizin Powder: 28%-98% purity) from Indian companies. The long-term goal was to build a network of suppliers as a viable alternative to its dependence on Chinese manufacturing companies.
Kai-PDQ shortlisted potential manufacturers in India and evaluated their capacity to export food-grade products to Japan.
